No birds were harmed or killed for these feathers, they are naturally shed and colored here at Air Feathers by Airie McCready, founder, owner and Master Colorist.

Fairie Feathers are the only guaranteed cruelty free, no-kill feather extensions on the market today. Originally sold only to salon professionals, Air Feathers is now making them available to Groomers who care!

Feather and hair extensions are not returnable for hygenic reasons. Please read all descriptions and instructions carefully.

Each feather is different- slightly different in texture, color and length. Each feather has two strands coming from a single quill. They can be installed as one, or taken apart to be used as two separate feathers. Some have black tips, some do not. Some are soft and wispy, some a bit more substantial. As they get longer, the ends get courser, but are still flexible.
All feathers take color differently, just like hair.
They can be washed, dried curled and flat-ironed just like hair, as long as you keep the heat under 300 degrees.
Feathers are not returnable as this is a hygienic issue.
